Texas state flag, medical clinics

Texas

Texas. When most people think of the Lone Star state there are a few adjectives that come to mind: big...massive...huge...supersized...enormous.

And it’s true. Most things and places in Texas are large – some larger than life. Texas is the second-largest state in the U.S. by both population and area. With an area of 268, 820 square miles (larger than France and nearly twice as large as Germany and Japan), you will need about 16 hours to drive throughout the state to see the numerous tourist attractions.

But the drive will be well worth the time. Texas wouldn’t be Texas if it didn’t contain just about everything...and it does. Beaches...historical sites...mountains...the wondrous works of nature...technology...entertainment...it’s all here in Texas.

The vast cities of Houston, Dallas, and Austin offer a captivating comparison to smaller towns.

Here are a few of the many tourist attractions that Texas offers:

  • Space Center Houston. Many Americans are old enough to remember the time when skeptics assured everyone that “there is no way in the world that humans will ever get to the moon.” Fortunately, some visionaries dedicated their lives to proving those skeptics wrong – and many of them worked at the Space Center Houston, where the miracle of space travel began. Spend the day looking at a space shuttle replica, feeling rocks from the moon and Mars, marveling at astronaut-related artifacts, and watching movies to see for yourself what happened during the first moon-landing and discover the exciting future of space travel.
  • The Fort Worth Stockyards. Texas wouldn’t be Texas without cattle, and the Fort Worth stockyards that were founded in 1866 is the place where millions of animals were bred, raised, stored and shipped out across the country. Old-fashion, western-themed shopping, rodeos, and countless other highlights will make you think you are back on the range. For even more western heritage, make sure to take in the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District. Saddle up!
  • The Alamo. The Alamo is more than just a historical monument. It is a shire dedicated to the 187 brave men who courageously faced overwhelming odds to inspire the birth of Texas as an independent entity. The battle cry of “Remember the Alamo” still is a testimony to perseverance, bravery, and the human spirit that to this day rouses the Texas feeling of freedom and independence. The weapons and artifacts of the time are indeed awe-inspiring sights to behold.
  • Big Bend National Park. Located in the Chihuahuan Desert in West Texas on the shore of the Rio Grande River, Big Bend National Park has plenty of sightseeing, many hiking trails, and hundreds of species of birds that will hold your interest for hours.
  • The Sixth Floor Museum in Dallas. The sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository is where Lee Harvey Oswald fired the shots that changed the course of history by killing President John F. Kennedy. Virtually everyone in America and probably worldwide as well can remember precisely where they were and what they were doing when they first heard that horrifying, shocking news. Stroll through the tall red building where it happened and learn fascinating details about the assassination and the legacy of a beloved president in the sixth-floor museum, and wonder what could have been had this monumental tragedy not occurred on November 22nd, 1963.
  • Sea World San Antonio Amusement Park. Do you enjoy watching sea creatures? Love to ride on a nautical roller-coaster? Can’t wait to relax in a water park? If yes, then Sea World San Antonio is a mandatory stop.
  • Six Flags over Texas. Located in Arlington, a suburb of Dallas, Six Flags over Texas opened in 1961 and has provided patrons of the park with a mix of both old and new entertainment. The broad range of themed rides will make everyone happy.
  • Circuit of The Americas (COTA). The Circuit racetrack is built for speed – and how appropriate for a state that has the highest speed limit in the nation (up to 85 miles per hour on designated highways). Although built specifically for Formula One race cars, the circuit also hosts soccer, ESPN’s X-Games, and music concerts at the Live Music Capital of the World.
  • The USS Lexington aircraft carrier. Resting comfortably a few miles off the shore of Corpus Christi, The Lexington, aka the “Blue Ghost” (the name given to the vessel by the Japanese, due to the carrier’s strange optical illusion of reappearing after it seemingly sunk and its effective blue camouflage) is a museum jam-packed with naval history. The Lexington was commissioned in February 1943 and deployed with the Pacific fleet. The Ship saw extensive action at Wake Island, Tawara, the Gilbert and Marshall Islands, and the battles of the Philippine Sea and Leyte Gulf. Step into the belly of this beast and gain a new appreciation for the bravery and sacrifice of our sailors and pilots of the Lexington crew.
  • The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The many attractions for this show are boots, barbecue, and beer...and not necessarily in that order.
  • The Perot Museum of Nature and Science. This museum offers everyone – from kids to older adults – a chance to learn the latest trends in science and technology.
  • San Antonio’s River Walk and the San Antonio Botanical Garden provide you a chance to slow down, relax, and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the region.
  • The State Fair of Texas. The booming voice of “Big Tex,” a 25,000 pound, 55-foot tall statue and iconic symbol of the Annual State Fair of Texas is waiting to greet you with his famous "Hoooowdeeee, fooolllllks” as you plunge into the sights and sounds of this exciting extravagance. Food, rides, shows, music, culture, shopping...it is all here awaiting you.
  • And many more attractions: Guadalupe Mountains State Park, the state capital in Austin, Galveston’s beaches, the Natural Bridge Canyons near San Antonio, Cadillac Ranch outside of Amarillo, the Padre Island National Seashore located near Corpus Christi...the list of “have-to-experience” attractions will make you consider adding extra time to your travels throughout this colossal, vast, towering state.

But you need to be full of energy to see all that Texas has to offer

Face facts. As we age, nothing gets more comfortable. The pounds pile on quicker, the joints ache, the muscles weaken, and our energy levels often plummet as fatigue sets in and threatens our ability to enjoy life and do what we want.

And the drop in the level of our hormones plays a huge role in our gradual deterioration due to aging. And this is the area where we can help.

Our hormone replacement clinics are scattered across the state of Texas, and we are ready, willing, and able to guide you back to your youthful vigor and enthusiasm.

Our specialties are human growth hormone (HGH) replacement, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), and sermorelin (a secretagogue which is a precursor that allows another substance to be secreted) of growth hormone.

Also, we will develop a detailed regimen of nutrition, exercise, stress reduction, restorative sleep, and supplements that will be specially created for you. We will consider all aspects of your current health and lifestyle and design a customized, comprehensive program to turn back the hands of time.

Contact us for a free, no-obligation discussion about the benefits of hormone replacement.
